MIGHT CAUSE BAD DECISIONS & GREAT STORIES

Audry has all Grown up

Inspired by Melbourne's beloved Skipping Girl "Audrey" sign, this artwork imagines an iconic symbol of innocence all grown up. Once advertising vinegar from atop Richmond rooftops, Audrey has become one of Melbourne's most recognisable landmarks, watching generations of the city evolve beneath her.

Reimagined through the energy of Melbourne's laneways, neon lights and nightlife, Audrey steps confidently into a new chapter; bold, playful and unapologetically herself. The work explores the contrast between nostalgia and reinvention, celebrating the freedom to evolve while honouring the stories that shaped us.

The title, Might Cause Bad Decisions & Great Stories, borrows the familiar language of cigarette packet warnings, transforming it into a tongue-in-cheek celebration of spontaneity, friendship and unforgettable nights. It's about embracing adventure, taking chances and collecting the memories that become the stories we tell for years to come.

A love letter to Melbourne, this piece celebrates the city's iconic signage, vibrant street culture and the women who continue to rewrite the rules with confidence, humour and style.
